I'M FINALLY BACK TO BLOGGING AFTER ALMOST A MONTH AND I REALLY WANNA APOLOGIZE FOR LEAVING THIS SPACE TO ROT FOR SUCH A LONG TIME.
Haven't been home for about 3 weeks and my laptop wasn't with me so this shall be my reason for not blogging. But now that I am back, I shall update you guys about my 5D4N BKK trip with my girl on December last year.
This was our very first time traveling together (just the both of us) and we were so excited!! Spent oue 4 nights at The Berkeley Hotel @ Pratunum and I guess I would rate it 4.5/5 because everything was up to my expectations and they serve really really good breakfast there. It's just that their room's interior wasn't as fantastic as I thought it would be but the overall was a good experience and I enjoyed my stay there.
Our first day there was quite a relaxing one because by the time we reached and checked in at our hotel it was almost 6pm already so we just went for a simple seafood dinner at Chinatown then back to our hotel room for some bubble bath!
Day two: The first thing I did when I woke up early in the morning was to Facetime with Mel. Even though it only lasted for a few minutes, at least it made my morning right.
Woke up as early as 6:30am just to swim and have breakfast. This is one reason why I have a love-hate relationship with having breakfast. Love because I love the foods but hate to wake up early for it.
So we actually managed to cover the whole of Platinum Mall and Union Mall on day two. Didn't really get as many clothes as my very first trip but at least it was so much better than my previous one.
Day three: As usual, another day of waking up early for breakfast and this time, we went to the Pratunum morning market.
Lunch at ROAST!! Yummy yummy food they have there. I would recommend to try it the next time you go BKK.
Met one of my good friend at night for dinner as he contacted me saying that he will be arriving BKK on that day and since it's been months since we last catch up so why not?
Day four: My happiest and saddest day among the whole trip.
Happy because it was my first visit to a cat's cafe and all the cats there were so freaking adorable but my happiness didn't last for long... Shall not talk about it here.<
So if you are my followers on instagram you would have already saw my instavideo at the cats cafe yeah?
Day five: Some free time till 6:30pm before we set off to the airport, we decided to go back Union Mall for some last minute shopping and rushed to Siam Paragon for some sweet treats (Mr Jones Orphanage) and bought Krispy Kreme back for my girls at home.
They served really delicious desserts at Mr Jones Orphanage but due to me having a really bad tummy ache the entire day, I didn't get to enjoy much:(
Back to Singapore, the first person I saw at the airport was Mel. Thank for sending me to and fro or almost wherever I go *smooches*.
To sum up my 5 days at BKK, I would say it was an awesome one and I really love the cafes there especially their interior (so much prettier than Singapore's).
Till I see you again BKK, I will conquer the other cafes which I had missed this time round.
